As a retired Assistant Fire Chief and paramedic with more than 30 years in the fire service and 25 years in emergency medical services, I provide objective expert witness services in cases involving alleged departures from accepted EMS standards of care. What Is the EMS Standard of Care?

The EMS standard of care is the level of care that a reasonably prudent EMS provider with similar training and experience would provide under the same or similar circumstances.

Evaluating that standard often requires reviewing:
